It’s that time of the year. Quickly approaching, that Hallmark holiday that has men all over North America searching for that one gift that will say “I love you.” Valentines Day.
BOGUS if you ask me. What a waste of my time! way to put on the pressure big card giving corporations. My girlfriend means the world to me, don’t get me wrong, but seriously this day needs to die. I’ve decided to suck it up, purchas a meaningfull gift, and be on my way. Next year…maybe a pat on the back and a six pack of MGD to split with me? I think she’ll like it.

I agree. I am totally in love, but Vday is definately a waste of money.

Many people are stunned when they ask me what my boyfriend got me for Valentines Day and I say nothing. It goes both ways though- he doesn’t buy me anything and I don’t buy him anything. He’s not into Valentines day and I can respect that. I don’t need a 3-foot stuffed gorilla that says “i love you” to know I’m loved. The inner romantic in me thinks it would be cute, but the more practical me says what am I going to do with this gorilla the other 364 days of the year??
