It goes both ways though- he doesn't buy me anything and I don't buy him anything. He's not into Valentines day and I can respect that. I don't need a 3-foot stuffed gorilla that says "i love you" to know I'm loved. The inner romantic in me thinks it would be cute, but the more practical me says what am I going to do with this gorilla the other 364 days of the year?? I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. But the way I see it, as a younger person I may be able to offer a business run by older people new insights on how to connect with youth. I'm 23 and I will be jumping into a career. It is terrifying knowing that I will no longer have to only have a summer job, but something that will last longer than four months. It's also a really good feeling. I mean, just think about it; no more school and no more studying. Sure formal education is a great experience, but just think of all the wonderful people you will meet and all the wonderful places you will visit all thanks to your real job.
